Handling fees are charged for shipping supplies and include the Confirmation of Delivery fee
Insurance fees cover the item if its received damaged or not received at all
PLEASE NOTE: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING A DAMAGED OR LOST PACKAGE CLAIM. By ordering from this website you agree to these terms. NO EXCEPTIONS
The USPS has very specific terms and they must be followed or your claim may be denied.
You must save all original shipping and packing materials and provide proof of these to the USPS office nearest you. DO NOT THROW AWAY ANY SHIPPING AND PACKING SUPPLIES. This could result in a denial of your claim if you do not retain the original packing supplies.
Do not send the items back to Artisan Gift Shop. This will void your opportunity to file a claim. Artisan Gift Shop does not replace items or refund money for lost or damaged items. You must file an Insurance claim to recover the cost.
Please see the following instructions on how to file your claim:
Manufactured items - Products are shipped within 1-2 business days from the time payment is received. Depending on where merchandise is being shipped to, orders may be received up to 7-10 business days later
Handcrafted items - Products are shipped as soon as possible but usually take from 5-10 business days due to the fact that each item is custom made and not all items are kept in surplus.
Shipping and handling methods vary depending on the artisan's preference. Shipping method's utilized are USPS and UPS and are at the artisan's discretion. Items in an order may be shipped separately.
PLEASE NOTE: Special shipping instructions are NOT honored. If you have specific requirements for the location an item is dropped off, when it is delivered, or any other specific instructions, you must email Artisan Gift Shop at cs@artisangiftshop.com before placing your order so we can work out the details. If you submit your order before the shipping details have been communicated and agreed upon by Artisan Gift Shop, the order will be delivered according to any Postmaster guidelines and your request will not be honored. According to the Postmaster they have sole discretion and retain the right to deliver or not and where to place the delivery. If you have a specific location or instructions for your delivery, you must specify that near your delivery location. Artisan Gift Shop is not responsible for items lost or returned. If an item is returned for delivery failure, the customer is responsible for all shipping and reshipping charges in addition to all fees Artisan Gift Shop incurred for processing your order. If reshipping is necessary, you will be billed for the additional fees and your order will be reshipped when payment is received.
Returns
We have a 100% satisfaction, 30 day money back guarantee behind every purchase. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your gift within this time period, we will refund the credit card used for the purchase amount less shipping. We do not accept returns after the 30 day time period.
Exceptions:
1) Holiday merchandise must be returned within 5 business days of receipt. December holiday merchandise must be received prior to January 15 of the following year
Follow these steps to return an item for any reason:
1. Re-pack the gift in its original packaging (if possible), with the packing slip. Please be careful to pack the item securely, as you will be liable for any damages found to be related to poor packaging.
2. Contact customer service at returns@artisangiftshop.com for additional shipping instructions relevant to your merchandise
